「Liminal Spaces」という名前は、「心の拠り所」をつくりたい、という思いから生まれました。
拠り所は、必ずしも目に見える場所にあるとは限らず、それぞれの人の内側に広がる、精神的な空間に近いものだと捉えています。誰かがほっと息をつけたり、夢中になれたり、自分を取り戻せたりする——そんなさまざまな人にとっての、さまざまなかたちの「拠り所」を生み出していくことが、Liminal Spacesの根っこにあるテーマです。
その表現の中心にあるのは、ゲームをはじめとするインタラクティブな体験づくり。一方で日々の活動としては、ブランドや事業の立ち上げ期——アイデアがまだかたちになっていない、0→1 の段階——を伴走する仕事を中心に行っています。
The name "Liminal Spaces" began with a simple wish: to create places of refuge for the mind.
These places aren't necessarily physical — they live closer to the inner, almost spiritual spaces each of us carries. Building many such places, in many shapes for many different people, is the theme that runs underneath everything Liminal Spaces does.
At the heart of this work are interactive experiences, with games at the center. In parallel, day-to-day practice means walking alongside brands and projects through their earliest 0→1 phase — the moment before ideas have taken final form.
